South Carolina Upstate wins 89-84 in OT against S.C. State

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Led by Jordan Gainey’s 28 points, the South Carolina Upstate Spartans defeated the South Carolina State Bulldogs 89-84 in overtime on Saturday. The Spartans improved to 5-4 with the win and the Bulldogs fell to 1-10.
