Three car crash involving a school bus temporarily blocks Union Blvd.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a crash that involved three vehicles, including a school bus, Thursday morning.

According to police, the crash happened in the left lane of southbound Union Blvd. near the intersection of Constitution Ave. Police say vehicles were stopped for an emergency vehicle that was driving westbound on Constitution with lights and sirens on when the collision occurred.

Police told KRDO no one was taken to a hospital and only three students were on the bus at the time, all were checked out at the scene and were okay.

Another bus came to pick up the children to take them to school.

According to police, no impairment is suspected and no word on who might be at fault.

The crash temporarily blocked the flow of traffic on Union.
