Multi-vehicle crash shuts down northbound I-25 at Cimarron St.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs police closed northbound I-25 at Cimarron due to a multi-vehicle crash.

At 6:18 p.m., CSPD announced the road was closed due to multiple injuries.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area, take alternate routes, and expect delays in both directions.

At this time, police are unsure of when I-25 will reopen.
