Vehicle fire involving AMR ambulance in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is on the scene of a vehicle fire involving an AMR ambulance near Monterey Road and Lassen Drive.

CSFD says Engine 11 and AMR were at the scene of a medical emergency when the ambulance on scene caught fire.

According to first responders, Engine 11 extinguished the fire, and a second ambulance was called to transport the party experiencing a medical emergency.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries reported were due to the fire, according to CSFD.
