FBI Denver issues warning about free charging stations
DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- The FBI Denver office has issued a warning about free charging stations in places like airports, hotels, and shopping centers.
The FBI says "bad actors" have figured out ways to use public USB ports to introduce malware and monitoring software onto your devices.
The FBI recommends carrying your own charger and USB cord and using an electrical outlet instead of free charging stations.
