Lanes of I-25 near Northgate back open after a motorcycle hit a bear

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said a motorcyclist hit a bear on I-25 near Northgate Boulevard. The crash shut down some northbound lanes of the interstate Saturday night for roughly two hours.

CSP said the bear is dead following the crash. They also said there were two people on the motorcycle at the time of the crash, they were both taken to the hospital.

CSP said the two riders only had minor injuries and will both make a full recovery.
