Active shooting investigation near Colorado Springs Bank Sunday afternoon

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- The Colorado Springs Police Department said there is an active scene near a Wells Fargo Bank at the intersection of Briargate Parkway and Powers Boulevard.

Police said there was a shooting in the area, but the suspect fled. They said there is no danger to the community.

Colorado Springs Police told KRDO the shooting was not at or inside the bank, but it was near it.
