According to CSPD, the 27-year-old patrol officer was assigned to the Sand Creek Division in the southeast part of the city and has been employed by the department since June of 2016.

Landreneau is on administrative leave, although it's not clear whether it will be paid or unpaid leave.

Detectives became aware of the allegations through another CSPD officer on April 28, according to a media release from the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Landreneau's mugshot was released Thursday morning by the department.

According to CSPD, this is an active and ongoing investigation, and said: "no further information will be released until appropriate to do so."
