Free Pueblo Riverwalk Summer Kickoff happening May 6-8
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo is inviting the community to the 2022 Riverwalk Summer Kickoff Event.
According to officials, the family-friendly event is open to the public. The Summer Kickoff will include free live music, face painting, a car show, and more.
While the event itself is free, people can pay for boat rides and mixed drinks. Tickets for Excursion Boats are $5 and guests 21 and older can enjoy $5 mixed drink specials while supplies last.
Additionally, kayak and paddleboard rentals will be available next to the Pedal Boats at Lake Elizabeth for the first time.
The live music is happening at the Pueblo Toyota Flood Wall stage, sponsored by Pueblo Toyota.

Friday
- Boats are open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Balloon Twisting by Mr. Magic from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Playing with Fire band performance from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Face painting by Erica Whitney from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday
- Outlaws Car Show from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Boats are open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Balloon Twisting by Mr. Magic from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- CooperSonics Performance from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday
- Boats are open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
