Fatal crash shuts down Peregrine Way and Falcon Drive Monday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A fatal crash on Shoup Road in the Black Forest area shuts down Peregrine Way and Falcon Drive Monday morning, according to Colorado State Patrol.

Police says the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Shoup Road just before the vehicle went off the side of the road and ended up rolling. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver in the vehicle died at the scene.

Colorado State Patrol asks drivers to use an alternative route.
