2 arrested for 2020 homicide at Colorado Springs Travelodge

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Two men are facing second-degree murder charges in connection with the death of a woman that happened early last year in a hotel in east Colorado Springs, the sheriff's office announced Friday.

The update from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office is connected to a homicide that reportedly happened on Jan. 6, 2020. Deputies found a woman dead inside a room at the Travelodge on Space Village Avenue, which is near Peterson Air Force Base.

The sheriff's office says an investigation took place, and at some point, the case was changed from a suspicious death to a homicide.

On Thursday, warrants were served against Ramo Thorne, 30, and Sean Andresen, 22. Thorne was arrested on Thursday, and Andresen was already in custody in the El Paso County Jail for unrelated charges.

The victim was identified as 35-year-old Glen (Rachel) Radie.

We're working on getting more information on the alleged killing. Check back for updates.
