TODAY: Highs cool several degrees to the low 70s in Colorado Springs and high 70s in Pueblo. Expect scattered showers and some stronger thunderstorms bringing gusty 40-50 MPH winds and pockets of heavy rainfall to the mountains. We could see a few showers spill over I-25, but we're still mostly dry and breezy down here.

EXTENDED: We're tracking a bigger drop to the 40s and 50s Wednesday, with scattered showers bringing mountain snow. Snow chances for the Pikes Peak Region look slim with light accumulations at most in higher elevation areas. We rebound back to the 50s and 60s Thursday as the low retreats north.
