Mother accused of murdering newborn found partially buried in yard
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says a 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder for the alleged killing of her newborn daughter.
According to the sheriff's office, the baby was found on Jan. 23 this year after authorities got a 911 call about an unresponsive newborn. The caller said the newborn was "lying partially buried in her yard."

The sheriff's office didn't say exactly where the incident occurred, but a spokesperson told KRDO the newborn was found in Yoder.
Deputies found the baby girl deceased, and an investigation began.
The sheriff's office said Friday that on June 3, an arrest warrant was issued for Amy Grace Carr for first-degree murder and tampering with a deceased human body.
The sheriff's office says additional charges could be coming.
According to Colorado Court records, Carr is set for a status hearing at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
