COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department says a 26-year-old man is accused of murder after a fatal shooting outside of a bar last week.

CSPD said the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Peak Tavern, which is on E. Platte Ave. Police say one man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound, but he died from his injuries.

Investigators say they got an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Joshua Martinez-Torres after finding evidence at the scene.

He was arrested for first-degree murder and was booked into the El Paso County Jail.

The victim in the shooting was identified as 32-year-old Abraham Parsons.

It's not yet clear what led to the shooting. We're working on getting more details on the investigation.
