COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Nearly three years after being announced, In-N-Out Burger is opening its first location in Colorado this week.

The restaurant in north Colorado Springs is opening this Friday, along with the location in Aurora, according to a statement from the company Thursday morning. In-N-Out will open at 10 a.m.

The announcement comes after the company built a new distribution center in Colorado Springs that will serve In-N-Out locations across the state.

The Colorado Springs location is at 1840 Democracy Point, near the corner of Interquest and Voyager parkways.

But if it's anything like the Texas premieres for In-N-Out, expect long lines to wrap around the building and into the street on opening day.
