COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- If you’ve been up to Interquest Parkway recently you might have noticed that the new In-N-Out is really starting to take shape.

As they look to be putting on the finishing touches, the question now is when will people be able to get their hands on that famous burger?

In-N-Out in a statement released to KRDO said, “We are still on track to open our first three Colorado restaurants by the end of the year, and of course our distribution center will need to be operational by that time to support these locations."

But because there is so much construction still needing to be complete on the distribution center, it’s still just a little too early to nail down an exact date.

Whether it’s the double-double, animal style fries, or the secret menu, people seem to gravitate towards this restaurant. When it was announced that they would be coming to Colorado Springs people were extremely excited.

Lynnse Schmidt said, “My boys are super excited. They said they are going to camp outside and wait for it to open.”

While Shannan Craine added, “I would say excitement and resentment maybe. Like half and half. Like we don’t need it we are not California.”

As for a trip to In-N-Out for lunch or dinner, the people of Colorado Springs will have to wait just a little bit longer.
