Woman suspect identified for fatal officer involved shooting in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) --
Update: The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the woman shot and killed by police Tuesday evening.
48-year old Lyana Gilmore was pronounced dead at the scene after being fired upon by three Pueblo Police officers.
According to investigators, Gilmore broke into a neighbors home on the 2000 block of W. 15th Street armed with a loaded gun, and threatened those inside. Police say the people living inside the home did not know who she was as they just recently moved in. It is unclear why Gilmore chose to enter that home, and threatens those individuals.
By the time officers arrived, Gilmore exited the home. Officers commanded her to drop her woman, but she refused. Police say Gilmore even pointed her weapon at officers.
