COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police have arrested a man for a vehicular homicide charge after a fatal crash that happened months ago in north Colorado Springs.

CSPD said Friday that Eric Sartuche-Dean, 20, was booked into custody Thursday for the crash that killed David Hundley, 69, on June 3 of this year.

Police said in an update that Sartuche-Dean was driving east at a "very high rate of speed" when he collided into Hundley's vehicle at the intersection of Briargate Parkway and Explorer Drive.

Hundley wasn't wearing his seat belt, and police said in June that he had an unprotected left turn from westbound Briargate Parkway.

A mugshot for Sartuche-Dean hasn't been made available yet.
