Colorado Springs Wrestling group raising money for hospice care center

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- This weekend Colorado Springs Wrestling will be hosting a telethon event to help raise money for Sangre De Cristo Community Care.

The event which will have three different time slots on Saturday will feature professional wrestling from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Randy Rude, owner of Colorado Springs Wrestling said, “It’s called Headlocks for Hospice, it’s a fundraising event for Sangre De Cristo Community Care. All of the proceeds will be going to this non-profit organization. It’s a full day event raising money for an amazing great company.”

And if you want to donate, Rude says you can do so by going to GoFundMe.

“They can donate by going to GoFundMe and just look up Headlocks for Hospice, you’ll find us right there and it will be running throughout the entire event it’s actually running right now,” said Rude.

Rude says that ultimately this Saturday will be a fun event for everybody involved.
