CSFD rescues person after 40-foot fall at Garden of the Gods
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to Garden of the Gods Friday afternoon in regards to a fall victim. CSFD called the rescue 'difficult,' saying it took two hours and 600 feet of line to complete.

CSFD started tweeting about the incident just before 3:30 p.m. According to firefighters, someone fell about 40 feet and had to be recovered by the high angle rescue team.

The victim was transported to a local hospital but the extent of their injuries isn't clear at this time.
