Man who died after Memorial Park shooting ID’d

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police have named the man who died of gunshot wounds after a drive-by shooting Friday night at a vigil in Memorial Park.

The victim was identified as 30-year-old Robert Collins of Colorado Springs, said Colorado Springs in a release Wednesday.

About 50 people had gathered in the park for a candlelight vigil to honor a woman who had recently passed away. Police say three men were struck by gunfire when a vehicle drove by and fired several rounds into the crowd.

The other two victims are still in the hospital but in stable condition.
