Gas leak fixed after mandatory evacuation near downtown Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- UPDATE: The gas leak near downtown Colorado Springs has been repaired, according to an update Tuesday afternoon from Colorado Springs utilities.
Update: the hit gas line at Dale & Tejon is now repaired thanks to the hard work of our gas construction crews. There were no service interruptions for customers at any point today. Thanks to @CSFDPIO & @CSPDPIO for helping us keep everyone safe this morning. pic.twitter.com/L64U2RzE5n

The Colorado Springs Fire Department is working on a gas leak and police issued a mandatory evacuation Tuesday morning for anyone near the area of E. Dale Street and Tejon Street, which is north of downtown Colorado Springs.
