3 employees at Colorado Springs Walmart test positive for COVID-19

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Department of Public Health confirmed to KRDO that at least three employees at one Walmart Supercenter in Colorado Springs have tested positive for COVID-19.

The employees all worked at the Walmart on Space Center Drive, on the east side of Colorado Springs. The Health Department didn't say if the employees worked in a customer-facing department or if they were in a warehouse area.

According to an update from the health department, officials are alerting anyone who may have been at the Space Center Drive Walmart location between May 8 and May 13.

The health department is getting more information on when all three employees may have been infected.

Public Health says Walmart will close the store to be "thoroughly cleaned and disinfected this evening."
