Colorado Springs Girl Scouts thank recycling center workers on the front line

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- One recycling center got a very sweet surprise -- boxes of Girl Scout cookies from a local troop.
A spokesperson with Colorado Springs Waste Management reached out to KRDO, saying that a Scout and her mom had stopped by the Springs Recycling Center.
"[The Girl Scouts] wanted to show their support for front line heroes," said the Center Manager in an email. "Their troop's focus this year has been on the environment."
In response, workers took pictures with the cookies while holding signs: 'Thank you!! Troop 47176.'
