Pueblo woman dies after turning herself in for traffic warrant

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says a woman who turned herself in on a misdemeanor traffic warrant died a few days after being booked.
Dawn Castro, 40, turned herself in to the Pueblo County Jail Sunday night but told deputies she was having medical issues on Tuesday morning, according to PCSO.
Deputies took Castro to a hospital after being evaluated by jail medical staff, but she died in the hospital Tuesday.
It's not yet clear what led to Castro's death, and an autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday.
The sheriff's office says Castro's death is under investigation.
