On Jan. 24 around 2:30 a.m., police say an unidentified man broke into Sharpy's Pawn Shop in the 300 Block of Chester Avenue.

At the scene, officers found a chain lying on the ground that appeared to have been cut. The front door window of the shop was shattered and the front door was unlocked, police say.

The suspect seen on video surveillance is described as a black male with dreadlocks wearing a red hoodie and blue pants with a white stripe down the side.

The man stole an item and then exited the business on foot.
