Crews respond to fire at Fountain Creek riverbed overnight in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- A fire broke out in the Fountain Creek riverbed behind the King Soopers on Pueblo's north side late Friday.

The first call came in around 11 p.m., reporting flames and screaming from the homeless camp below.

Responding fire crews said the blaze ran along Chinook Lane.

The fire was out around midnight, according to our crew at the scene.
