Suspect caught after string of liquor store robberies in Colorado Springs
The Colorado Springs Police Department announced Friday that a suspect has been arrested in connection with a string of liquor store and convenience store robberies that started in early November.
According to CSPD, 32-year-old Joshua Ray Tenbrink went on the crime spree in two stolen vehicles -- he allegedly pointed a handgun and long gun at victims during nine robberies and four attempted robberies. The spree started on Nov. 5 and ended on Nov. 14.
Tenbrink was arrested Nov. 16 by the Cripple Creek Police Department and booked into custody.
Tenbrink is accused of the following robberies and attempted robberies, according to CSPD.

- 11/08/19 Ruskin Liquor, 3960 Airport Rd.
- 11/10/19 Circle K, 5670 Palmer Park Blvd.
- 11/10/19 Everyday Convenience Store, 1823 N. Circle Dr.
- 11/10/19 Academy Town Liquor, 1210 N. Academy Blvd.
- 11/10/19 Valero, 4825 Galley Rd.
- 11/13/19 Bluffs Wine and Liquor, 3609 Austin Bluffs Pkwy.
- 11/14/19 Academy Town Liquor, 1210 N. Academy Blvd.
- 11/14/19 Quart House Liquor, 2738 Palmer Park Blvd.
Attempted Robberies:
- 11/10/19 Springs Liquor Outlet, 6010 N. Carefree Cir.
- 11/10/19 Chelton Liquor, 220 N. Chelton Rd.
- 11/13/19 Green Crest Center, 3725 Van Teylingen Dr.
- 11/14/19 Chelton Liquor, 220 N. Chelton Rd.
