Police: Body in concrete found at Adams County homicide scene
Police officials say they’ve located a body covered in concrete in the basement of an Adams County home after arresting a resident there for investigation of first-degree murder.
Adams County Sheriff’s Sgt. Paul Gregory says investigators found the body of an adult male at the residence Friday.
The discovery came a day after 38-year-old Russell Montoya Jr. was arrested for investigation of murder and tampering with evidence.
Gregory says authorities believe the victim, whose name hasn’t been released, may have been killed in the home on Nov. 8.
The investigation is continuing.
Montoya was being held at the Adams County Detention Facility pending court proceedings.
