The popular Ice Castles are returning to Dillon this year, and guests will be able to visit the towering frozen spires as long as COVID-19 safety precautions are followed.

The Ice Castles have become a recent winter staple in Dillon, and artists freeze together tens of thousands of icicles to craft a polar playground. There are slides, crawl spaces, caves, and illuminated fountains throughout the area.

This year, however, the Ice Castles will be operating at a reduced capacity so that people can socially distance. Tunnels and crawl spaces will also be marked with one-way signs to limit exposure to other guests.

The company hasn't yet said when tickets will go on sale or when the park will officially open, but keep an eye out on their website for details.
