Grand Junction police investigate 9-year-old girl’s death

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- A nine-year-old girl's death is under investigation after she was reported unresponsive Saturday morning.

Around 7 a.m. Grand Junction Police and Fire responded to the call in the 1000 block Hill Avenue, reported ABC affiliate KJCT.

The girl was dead when they arrived.

Police tell KJCT that they're investigating the incident as an unattended death.
