The School Buzz: D11 counselors sweep state awards

For the second straight year, D-11 appears to have the best school counselors in the state.

D-11 announced recently that the Colorado School Counseling Association selected three D-11 counselors as the Counselor of the Year for Colorado.

Cassidy Bristol was selected as the Elementary School Counselor of the Year; she’s at Wilson Elementary.

Sarah Clapham is at West Middle School; she was named Middle School Counselor of the Year.

And Timothy Garland is at Doherty where he was named High School Counselor of the year.

CSCA represents more than 1,600 counselors across the state.
