The School Buzz: D20 high school’s student-run news broadcast wins national award

While some students are cramming for a test, others at Rampart High School are KRAMming for their student-run news broadcast, one of which is now the recipient of a national award.

The D-20 high school has a lot to brag about regarding KRAM. The student-news outlet recently won first place in Best of Show for Broadcast News from the National Scholastic Press Association at the National High School Journalism Conference in Los Angeles. The KRAM team ranked first among 10 finalists.

There were also other RHS students who took home awards for their school news coverage on district policies, mask guidelines, and school peer partner programs.
