The School Buzz: Rye HS senior wins state video competition, awarded full ride to DU

Kaydee Dodge graduates from Rye High School on Friday. She's already setup for quite the summer and fall.

Kaydee joined TSA – the Technology Student Association – before her senior year. She was ranked in the top ten for digital video production before winning first place in the state competition. Now she’s competing for the national title at the end of next month.

But most importantly, Kaydee was awarded a Crimson and Gold Scholarship to D-U (University of Denver) worth $17,000 a year for four years, along with $3,000 for housing. She also got a Community Tuition Scholarship to cover the rest of her tuition. Kaydee plans to double major in creative writing and film production.
