The School Buzz: Colorado Springs Christian Schools celebrates artistic students to cap off hard pandemic year

Young artists of every age felt the effects of the pandemic over the last year. Colorado Springs Christian Schools wanted to cap off the difficult year with a way to celebrate their artistic students.

CSCS held an “Afternoon Of The Arts” on Friday, displaying student artwork while student bands and choirs also performed. There was even a food truck; a nice way to celebrate considering the school managed to keep in-person classes for 176 days this year.

“Our teachers were fantastic. They complied and helped along the way. Our students, they were awesome. They followed all the guidelines. Our parents were so supportive. They just loved on us and encouraged us all along the way,” said Diane Meeter, CSCS executive director
