Pueblo Municipal Court closed for the rest of 2020 due to COVID-19

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Municipal Court building is closed due to safety concerns from rising COVID-19 cases in Pueblo.

Judge Carla Sikes issued the closure Wednesday, November 18. The court building is expected to re-open on January 4, 2021.

All trials between November 20 and December 31 will be rescheduled in January. Defendants and attorneys should expect a new trial date to be mailed to them within the next fourteen days.

All first appearances for adult mandatory and non-mandatory arraignments on all charges will be continued at the time originally scheduled on new dates:
