Pueblo police investigating hit-and-run involving pedestrian

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department says a serious crash involving a pedestrian is under investigation near the Langoni Sports Complex.

Officers responded to a call of a male being run over on West 27th Street near Morris Ave. around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to Pueblo PD.

Police tell us the 22-year-old male victim -- whose identity has not been released -- has life threatening injuries.Now, police are on the lookout for a black Ford F 150 with heavy tinted windows and chrome wheels.

Police say they don't know if the driver or victim knew each other and are continuing to investigate.

Officers urged drivers to avoid the area while crews collected evidence.
