District 60 students sing National Anthem at Colorado Rockies game against New York Mets

DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- At Sunday's Colorado Rockies game, some elementary school children got the chance to show off their singing skills.

Before the game against the New York Mets, a group of Pueblo District 60 students and staff took the field to sing the national anthem.

D60 was represented by a member of the Board of Education, Principal of Columbian Elementary School Jimmie Pool, and Principal of Minnequa Elementary School Katie Harshman.

Also, proceeds from all tickets sold Sunday went towards the D60 Education Foundation Inc.

The Rockies thanked all of the guests from D60 for their support Sunday and for joining them at Coors Field.
