Veterans honor the fallen at the Woodland Park Cemetery on Memorial Day Weekend

WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Teller County Sheriff's Office posted photos Saturday of people honoring veteran's graves on Memorial Day weekend.

Members of the American Legion Post 1980 and VFW Post 6051 placed American flags on the graves of veterans at the Woodland Park Cemetery. Members of the public joined the tradition too, also placing flags.

They're also passing the tradition along, with children and grandchildren helping with Saturday's effort.
