Colorado Springs Police: man says he was stabbed on a trail near Monument Creek

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs Police are investigating a reported stabbing that happened on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail.

Monday, a man arrived with a non-life-threatening stab wound at Memorial Hospital at 7:30 p.m. Gold Hill Officers were dispatched to the hospital, and the man said he was stabbed within the last 18 to 24 hours by an unknown suspect.

The victim said the stabbing happened along the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail near the 1200 block of S. Tejon St. Police say this investigation is ongoing.
