Fort Carson planning to conduct noise-generating training

FORT CARSON, Colo. (KRDO) - Fort Carson is announcing that multiple units will conduct noise-generating training that will include artillery, mortar and flight operations.

The training starts Sunday and will end October 2nd throughout the Front Range, northern and southern Colorado regions.

“The training is to prepare the units for any potential missions they may be called upon to support around the globe,” according to a Fort Carson spokesperson.

People near the Army installation can expect increased noise and dust, including in the evenings and throughout the night.
