Colorado Springs police arrest man accused of trying to pay 14-year-old for sex
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police in Colorado Springs say a 25-year-old man is facing charges after trying to pay a 14-year-old girl for sex acts.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the teen started getting messages on social media from Joshua Frisby, who "offered her money in exchange for oral sex."
The 14-year-old refused Frisby's offer, according to police, so he asked her to contact friends so he could offer them money for sex acts. That's when the teen turned over her account to detectives with the Metro Vice Unit, and they arranged a meeting with Frisby.
Police say Frisby was arrested on Friday after he responded to the arranged meeting.
According to court records, Frisby is being held in jail without bond. He faces charges of soliciting child prostitution, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation of a child.
