Residents near Fountain Mesa Road ordered to shelter in place due to gas leak
FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KRDO) -- UPDATE: The gas leak has been repaired and the shelter in place order has been lifted as of Wednesday afternoon.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says a gas leak in the area of Fountain Mesa Road and Autumn Place prompted a shelter-in-place order Wednesday around noon.
Residents are encouraged to stay inside and keep all doors and windows closed, avoid being outside, avoid making sparks or flames, and turn off anything that pulls in outside air.
