Motorcyclist killed in crash into roundabout in south Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police in Colorado Springs say a 42-year-old man was killed after he crashed his motorcycle into the newly constructed roundabout at Cheyenne Boulevard and S. Cascade Ave.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. Sunday, and emergency responders found Daniel R. Stephenson of Colorado Springs unresponsive. Stephenson reportedly died at the scene.

According to CSPD, Stephenson was going east on Cheyenne Boulevard when he struck the median in the roundabout and was ejected from the bike. He wasn't wearing a helmet, police said.
