Power outage affects thousands in NE Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Thousands of people in the area near Carefree Circle and Powers Boulevard were left without power Monday morning.

UPDATE: Power has been restored as of 11:20 a.m.

Colorado Springs Utilities reported the outage around 10 a.m. and said it was affecting more than 2,000 customers. See more information here.

Traffic lights were also reported to be out. If you encounter one, treat it as a four-way stop.
