Police investigate incident at Walmart in Monument

MONUMENT, Colo. -- Police are investigating an incident at the Walmart on Jackson Creek Parkway that caused police to clear the area Wednesday afternoon.

Employees were allowed back into the Walmart shortly before 5 p.m. but it's not clear when the store will reopen for business.

The activity was first reported shortly after 2 p.m. Police have not yet confirmed the reason for their activity.

There isn't a description of the suspect at this time.
