Fire crews respond to house fire in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Firefighters responded to a structure fire in a basement on the south side of Colorado Springs Sunday morning.

Just before 3 a.m., fire crews responded to the scene at 1435 Brush Oak Drive. They quickly brought the flames under control and there were no reports of injuries.

Colorado Springs Fire Department crews were searching for signs the embers had spread, but didn't find anything. The cause of the fire is not clear at this time.
