Missing 9-year-old found safe and sound

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Police say that 9-year-old Michelle Reneau has been found safe and sound after being reported missing to the public earlier Tuesday.

No further information is available at this time, police said in a tweet around 6 p.m.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colorado Springs police are asking the public to help find a 9-year-old girl who ran away Monday afternoon.

The mother of Michelle Reneau told KRDO she ran away from school at the Roosevelt Charter Academy on Byron Drive on Dec. 2.

Michelle has not been located as of about noon Tuesday. Her mother reports that she has not returned home, according to police.
