CSPD responding to barricaded suspect situation
UPDATE: Police say that have arrested one suspect after a brief standoff Sunday morning.
Around 10:43 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Montebello Drive West on a report of shots fired.
At the scene officers were able to get the victims out of the home safely, according to the police report.
The suspect fired a weapon several times while officers were on scene.
The Tactical Enforcement Unit and K9 officers responded to the scene as well. Police say the suspect exited the home and was "contacted by K9".
Officers then arrested the suspect, identified as Matthew Hahn, without further incident.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Police say they are working a scene involving a barricaded suspect who fired shots inside a residence Sunday.
According to police, the suspect is inside of their own residence in the 3200 block of Montebello Drive.
CSPD is cautioning people to avoid the area.
