Man repeatedly threw away trash on day wife disappeared
SALIDA, Colo. (AP) — An investigator says a Colorado man charged with killing his wife last year spent the day she disappeared throwing away trash at various locations after leaving for a work trip. The retired FBI agent testified Tuesday that Barry Morphew was detected throwing away items in trash containers five times in Broomfield in suburban Denver, about 155 miles from their home in the mountains. The testimony came during a hearing to determine if Barry Morphew will stand trial in his wife’s death. Suzanne Morphew was reported missing by a neighbor on Mother’s Day last year. Her body hasn’t been found.
